Richard Jarvis, 47, of Glastonbury, passed away August 2, 2023 in Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, son of Martha (Jette) Jarvis and the late Dennis Jarvis, on March 20, 1976. Richard graduated high school and continued his education at Porter and Chester Institute with a focus on Information Technology. After an initial career in IT, he focused much of his time energy exploring ancient Egyptian architecture, art, and the mathematical ratios and patterns found throughout. Richard was quietly brilliant and had a passion for numbers; using a variety of technical and artistic skills, he created images, art and video that he shared with hundreds of thousands of people online, primarily via The Golden Page. Rich was also a very sweet, kind and gentle man. He was an animal lover, a loyal and loving friend to those fortunate enough to be close to him, and he will be missed dearly.
Along with his mother, Richard is survived by his sister Amanda and her husband, his niece Madeline and nephew Dillon, as well as his aunt and uncles and their respective families.
