Peter James “Pete” Rosetta, 67 of Rocky Hill, formerly of Wethersfield, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday morning, January 25, 2021 after fighting a long battle with cancer. Pete was born on July 17, 1953 in Hartford to the late Salvatore and Angela (Marotta) Rosetta. Pete had an incredible work ethic and was proud to work at the Rocky Hill Vault Company for over 30 years. Pete will be remembered for so many qualities he possessed. He was a perfectionist; no other hand BUT his could be put to the tasks. He had a “need for speed,” with his love for classic cars, boats, jet skis, and anything with an engine. He was also an avid outdoorsman, spending many hours hunting and fishing with his buddies. Pete was a man that always kept busy, whether it be finding little tasks around the house, to going out of his way to help others. His outgoing personality led him to starting conversations with anyone around him, most ending in lifelong friendships. For anyone who has known Pete, knows that he always had a story to tell. He had a lasting impact on all the lives he touched and will forever be remembered as a legend.

Pete is survived by his children, Lauren Rosetta-Miller and her husband Jeremy of Rocky Hill and his son Frank Rosetta of South Windsor. He also leaves behind his brother, James Rosetta & his wife Roseann of Princeton, NJ, his dear cousin Richard Hines, one of his close buddies Bob Magistri, his companion Michelle Accarpio with her four children, along with many, many other friends.

Friends and family of Pete may pay their respects on Thursday January 28th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road Wethersfield. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day. The Mass of Christian Burial will be livestreamed at FarleySullivan.com. A graveside service will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
