On behalf of President and Head of School, Christian Cashman, I offer my deepest sympathy on the passing of Betty Pickering. Betty, along with her children, is a valued member of the Northwest Catholic community, so we mourn her loss along with all who love her. Please know that Betty and her entire family will be remembered in a special way at our next school-wide Mass. We are very sorry for your loss. ~ Jane Leary, Director of Constituent Relations, Northwest Catholic High School.

To the Pickering Family.
Our sincere sympathy on the passing of your beloved Betty. She and Bob were old friends from years past. As death always does, it brings back memories of happier times. There was an old connection between the Hilliard family and Betty's father who owned the Nilan St. home we grew up in. I was told that the Colllins girls would often come over to pick up the rent. Perhaps Betty was one.
And now she is gone and in a better place. She and Bob are together with the Lord. May they rest forever in peace.

Sincerely,
Bob and Pat Hilliard

I am so sad to learn of Mrs. Pickering ‘s passing especially for the family who has endured so many losses. I always called her Mrs. Pickering her whole life, since I was Richard’s teacher , and we became good friends during his life and after his passing . She was one of the kindest , generous, caring people I know who took care of many people during her lifetime. The Pickering Family was always so warm and welcoming, and I have fond memories of many delicious meals and conversations at their kitchen table.
Much peace and many blessings to the entire family.
Love,
Gail Repass Stafford and Joe
