Nancy Eileen (Driscoll) Martin, was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Michael B. Martin and daughter Tracy Ann, on November 23, 2022. However, she sadly leaves her cherished daughter, Emily Hotchkiss, her husband, Zach, her grandson, Michael and granddaughter, Avery. They were the loves of her life. Nancy was the daughter of Walter R. and Nancy (Pierce) Driscoll. She grew up in West Hartford, then lived in Virginia and Massachusetts before retuning home to start a family. Her family and friends were very important to her and she would do anything for them. There wasn’t anything more important to her than her husband and beautiful daughters and she hopes they knew how much they were loved. She was proud to have taught CCD and to be a Eucharistic Minister at Saint mark the Evangelist Church. She was an avid Red Sox and UCONN basketball fan and loved the Washington Redskins.
Nancy leaves her cherished brothers, Thomas and wife, Patricia of West Hartford, Gregory and wife, Mary of Farmington and Scott of Jupiter, Florida. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Judy Bell (Tom), Carol Jacques (Ronald) and Denise Parent (Darren), her brothers-in-law, Stephen, David (Leslie) and Daniel. She loved being a Godmother to her niece, Rachel Driscoll, nephews, Brendan Driscoll and Steven Parent. She also leaves nieces and nephews, Sarah, Meaghan and Madison Driscoll, Matthew and Christopher Bell, Jonathan, Lauren and Brendan Jacques, Sean and Lauren Parent, and Molly, Miles, William, Danielle, Julia and Amelia Martin. Nancy was blessed with lifelong cherished friends, Tim Wooldridge, Sue Gray, Karen Murphy and Judy Chung. She loved animals and always had cats and dogs. Her favorite motto was “It’s not what you’re dealt, it’s how you deal with it.” She’d like to think she dealt with her life challenges with dignity, strength and humor.
