Obituary for Michael Manzone

Michael P. Manzone, 84, of Wethersfield CT, died on March 7, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters. He leaves behind his wife, Cecile, his daughters, Christine and Jennifer Manzone, and three grandchildren, Zachary and Lukas Peterson and Olivia Jacobs. He also leaves behind his sister, Mary Adamick of Arizona, his brother, Louis Manzone of Massachusetts, as well as dear sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and many adored nieces and nephews. He grew up in Hartford and was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Anita Manzone.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Ceal for almost 60 years and adored his children, grandchildren, and extended family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends skiing, swimming, boating, and going to the beach. He was a longtime resident of Wethersfield and the owner and operator of a successful plumbing and heating company, Manzone & Son Plumbing & Heating, until his retirement, proudly serving his customers for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all.
The family is grateful for the care he received from the many doctors, nurses and staff at Starling Physicians and Infusion Center in Wethersfield and Hartford Healthcare Hospice. Friends may call on Saturday, March 18th from 10:00 to 11:30 at Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home on Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. Burial will be private.
