Mary Lena (Trusivich) Martin, 94, wife of the late Henry Martin, of Hartford, passed away December 13, 2021 in Hartford Hospital, surrounded by her loving children, due to complications from COVID. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Sgczyhol) Trusivich. Prior to her retirement, Mary was an Administrative Assistant for the State of Connecticut. She was a great cook, playing the piano and was a skilled seamstress who made dresses for her daughters when they were young. Most of all, Mary loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her doors were open to all her extended family and she did things for people that even her family didn't know about. Mary was also a longtime parishioner of Saint Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church of Hartford and later Saint Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church of Colchester. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna Nolan and her husband Gary of Portland, Tina Inferrera and her husband Mel of Colchester, David Martin and his wife Cindy of West Hartford and Jeffrey Martin and his wife Carol of Hartford, her grandchildren, Melissa Ethridge and her husband Shaun, Kristen Budden and her husband Patrick, Elyse Inferrera and her husband Matt Salad, Michelle Inferrera and her fiancé Dominic Flejszar, Bohdan Martin, Mary Rose Martin and Michael Martin and her great-grandchildren, Kellan, Ella, Ava, Emerson and Blake. Besides her husband, who Mary missed dearly after he passed, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Due to COVID concerns, private services will be held at a later date.
