Margaret F. "Peggy" Magistri of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Peggy was born on April 15, 1928 in Hartford, CT to the late Frank and Irene Magistri. She was a graduate of Weaver High School, Class of 1946, and took great pleasure in joining her friends at their annual class reunions. Prior to her retirement, Peggy worked her whole career at Heublein in Hartford. She was a benevolent person and worked as a volunteer at the Newington Children's Hospital. Peggy was known for her love of the beach and spending time at her favorite spot in Clinton for many summers before purchasing her home away from home in Brewster, Cape Cod where she took great joy in sharing with her family and friends. She was known for being a passionate UCONN Women's Basketball fan. Peggy found great pleasure in spending time with the many close friends she had made throughout her life whether it be at the beach or at Ferry Park, you could always find Peg laughing and chatting with friends and was always the life of the party.

Peggy leaves to celebrate her life, her nieces, Steph (Steve) Larkin, Marian (Rae) VanEgas, Betsey (Peter) Lepak, Terry (Pierre) Koussa and Kathy Roy. Her nephews, Bob (Debi) Magistri, Frank Magistri, Rick (Janet) Magistri, a sister-in-law, Julie Magistri along with several great nieces and nephews. Peggy is predeceased by her siblings, Leonard Magistri, Richard Magistri and Marie Tudan.

Friends and family may call from 9:30am to 10:30am on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Peggy's life will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00am in the Church of the Incarnation of Christ the King Parish, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield.
