Luigi Mancini, 101, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2021 at Saint Mary Home in West Hartford. He was born to the late Ralph and Anna (Guglioti) Mancini in Pontelandolfo, Province of Benevento, Italy, on February 2, 1920. He served in the Italian Army during World War II, in which he was a prisoner of war for 7 years. Luigi came to America in 1950 from Italy after marrying his beloved Giacondina. After coming to America, Luigi found work as a construction worker and worked for many years at Rizzo Construction.

Luigi is survived by his son Ralph Mancini, of Wethersfield as well as his nieces and nephews, Joe, Tony, Nick, Anna and Ralph Mancini.
