Obituary for Lisa Ann Gelberg (Conte)
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 14th, at 11:30am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church: 2819 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.
There will be no calling hours. Lisa is survived by her husband Steven Gelberg and two sons, Ian and Liam. Along with her mother Barbra Conte and her siblings, and her husband the late John Conte. As well as Steven’s sister Andrea Wald, her husband Marc, and their two children Alex and Leah. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please donate to the Connecticut Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Lisa loved her work as a massage therapist and the entire massage community has a special place in her heart. Lisa was a massage therapist, tap dancer, and lover of all things musical and dance. She completed a bachelor’s degree at Charter Oak State College and was in the process of receiving her Master’s at Bay Path University. Lisa was a lover of beaches, especially in Cape Cod, and a loving fan of Walt Disney World. In her spare time, Lisa was an advocate and giver to the tap community, always pursuing her dreams and the things she loved.
