Kathleen M. Rodden, 77, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She was born in Hartford on November 13, 1944, daughter of the late Thomas A. and Marian E. Rodden. She grew up in Hartford on Columbia Street and cherished the memories of the time she spent there. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1962, later moving to East Hartford where she raised her family. Over the years, she had many different careers, as a hairdresser, Real-Estate agent, and business owner. However, she always felt her most important role was that of a mother. She loved her children and family, and was the host of many wonderful holidays. She was deeply loved by her family and all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth A. Evans and Tracy E. Corcoran and her father, Michael F. McGuinness; two grandchildren, Michael R. Evans and Jack P. Corcoran. She is also survived by her brother Thomas P. Rodden and his wife Susan, her sister MaryBeth Brookman, and her nieces and nephews ,Tommy and Karen Rodden, and Kerry Gricoski and a special great-nephew Will Ramos. She was predeceased by her daughter Abbe M. McGuinness, and her former husband Richard J. Stawecki. We will miss her love, kindness, and her wonderful sense of humor.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
