Joseph Jerome Mahon II, age 50, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2023 after a cardiac event. Joey grew up on Long Meadow Road in Wilton and attended Fairfield Prep after graduating from OLF.



Known as Joey to his family and friends, he was dad to Winter and Keir. Joey and Keir shared a close bond and a similar sense of humor and loved making each other laugh. Winter and Joey were enjoying reshaping their relationship as adults as Winter moved away from home for college and beyond.



Joey worked tirelessly as a lineman and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 42. He worked

both locally and wherever he was needed when storms and other disasters hit. He lead his teams with trustworthiness, encouragement and a bit of sarcastic humor.



He is survived by his children Winter and Keir and their mother, Beth, his parents, Don and Pat Mahon, his sister, Sheila Shelton (and Stagg), his brother Tim Mahon (and Kerry), his nieces Maggie and Mabel, his nephew Griffin as well as by his long term girlfriend Jen Roberson and her children. Joey is also survived by his best buddy, his dog Bob.



Joey joins his grandparents, Aunt Nancy and his niece Katie in the next life.
