Obituary for John M. Bezdelovs

John Michael Bezdelovs 55, of Rocky Hill, devoted father, son, brother, friend and coach, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital, Wednesday, December 18, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 30, 1964, John was one of four children of Mary Ann (Shea) Bezdelovs and the late John M. Bezdelovs. A longtime resident of Rocky Hill, John was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School, Class of 1983. Known for his keen ability to fix anything in need of repair, John was a skilled auto-mechanic for many years. In his off time, he was avid fisherman, a huge supporter of his girls’ athletic events, as well as an outstanding holiday baker, who freely shared his homemade pumpkin bread and cookies. He was a kind hearted person who would do anything for a friend in need.
In addition to his mother Mary Ann, John will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his two daughters, Ashley and Sarah, who were the lights of his life; his siblings Laurie Marotto (Tom), Tracey Barlow (Cinque’) and Danny Bezdelovs (Kim); a special aunt Arlene Shea; along with a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Bezdelovs family, Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 6-8pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11am in St. James Church of St. Josephine Bakita Parish, 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill (Attendees are asked to go directly to the church). Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
