Jane Allen Quinn, 66, of Hartford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Jane grew up in Hartford with her eight siblings and parents James Allen and Genevieve O'Reilly Allen. She attended St. Augustine School, South Catholic High School and Saint Francis Respiratory School. She worked at my Sisters Place, women's shelter, and for CREC for over 20 years, including at the Montessori School in Hartford. Jane spent summers at Black Point beach in Niantic and thought of it as her second home. She loved music, dancing, swimming, kayaking, her dog poochie and being a Grandma!
She is survived by her loving husband and partner for over fifty years, Timothy Quinn. Her son Harold Quinn, his children Conor Quinn and Reilly Quinn. His wife Allison Quinn. Their children Andrew Quinn and Justin Quinn. Her son, Walter Quinn, his wife Amy Quinn. their children Autumn Quinn and Arlo Quinn. Her daughter, Genevieve Quinn. Her sisters Mary Mitchell and her husband Tom Mitchell, Peggy Uliano and her husband Lou Uliano, Helen Clark and her husband Byron Clark, Genevieve Hall and her husband Mark Hall, Theresa Allen Karas and her husband Al Karas, Jackie Allen-Doucot and her husband Chris Allen-Doucot and Veronica Phelps and her husband John Phelps. her honorary sisters Bethanne Donovan and Bev Melo. Her brother Jim Allen and his wife Deb Allen.
