Obituary for James J. Kenefick

James J. Kenefick, 82, of Berlin, passed away on January 21,2021 in Suffield House. He was born in Hartford, son of the late James J. and Margaret (Steere) Kenefick, Sr. Jim was a graduate of Hartford Public High School, Class of 1957. Prior to his retirement, he worked with the Service Department of Connecticut Natural Gas Co. Jim was an avid photographer, enjoyed playing golf, at his own pace, traveling and going out to dinner with friends. He also had a great love of Jazz music, visiting many clubs and shows.
Jim leaves his cousins in Rocky Hill, Virginia and Vermont, as well as many friends. A special thanks to Jim’s lifelong friend Ron Kehoe for arranging services.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Jim’s life will be held on Wednesday January 27, 2021 at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 48 Cottage Street, East Berlin, CT 06023. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, 1 Cottage Grove Road Bloomfield. There will be no calling hours. The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
