Harry T. Lynch, Jr., husband of the late Rose (Cermola) Lynch, of Wethersfield, passed away February 12, 2024 in Avery Heights. He was born in Hartford on June 8, 1927, son of the late Harry T. and Jennie (Bruno) Lynch, Sr and lived in the Hartford area all of his life. Prior to his retirement, Harry worked for Travelers Insurance Co. as a mechanic for over 33 years, retiring in 1983. He went on to work as a bartender at the First and Last Tavern, Hartford Civic Center and the Moose Club of Hartford. Harry married Rose on August 16, 1947 and spent 65 years together.
He leaves his children, Nancy Hutchings of WI, Linda Guiliano and her husband John of Ellington and Naples, FL, Janice Wallace and her husband George of Newington, Michael A. Lynch and his wife Helene of Glastonbury, Thomas E. Lynch of Wethersfield and Joseph D. Lynch of Wethersfield as well as 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a sister Anna Marie Parenteau of Fl. Besides his wife, Harry was predeceased by two grandchildren, Matthew Guiliano and Jamison Lynch.
Friends may call on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
