Obituary for Gail Ruth (Hacker) Lawes (Aveline)
Gail R. (Aveline) Hacker Lawes, 73, of East Hartford, formerly of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021. Gail was a loving and benevolent woman who cared about her family immensely. She was a devoted family woman who loved her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her all-time loves was Christmas and the joy of giving presents to her family. If you ever needed to have a thorough house cleaning, you could always call upon Gail.
Gail leaves behind her husband Leighton Lawes and her loving children, Lisa Reck and her husband Paul of West Hartford, Janet Hacker of Newington and Mark Hacker and his wife Kristin of Wethersfield. She also leaves behind her two step-sons, Frank and John Hacker. Her Grandchildren; Carter, Griffin, and Nolan, Bow and his wife Jessy, Taylor, James and Luke; her Great-Grandchildren, Dominic and Markus. She also leaves behind her siblings, Lynne Aveline of Rockville and Kenneth Aveline of Berlin. Gail was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank T. Hacker, Sr.
