Dear Tara, Uncle George and everyone. I’m sorry I can’t be there today but I wanted to express my deepest sorrow and condolences. I have many fond memories of Aunt Betty from my childhood, but even in the last several years she would ask my mom if we could arrange to see each other on my visits to Connecticut. It was sweet to know our affection endured after 25 years living away. Of course for my mom, she was like a sister, and she will cherish the memories of shared good times, as well as times of woe that my befall any family. They always had each other’s shoulders to lean on. Our lives were enriched by her, and I mourn with you. Love, Tony
