Donald J. “Don” Deasy, 77, of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023, with his wife Pat by his side. Don was born June 11, 1946, to Donald T. and Rose Deasy in Hartford. He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1964 and Providence College in 1968. Following college, Don went on to teach at St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol until 1970 when he moved to Phoenix, Arizona. He worked for Equitable Life Insurance for several years. Following his time at Equitable Life Insurance, Don founded Estate Planning Strategies, Inc. and later continued his work in estate planning with Integrated Trust Systems. He loved learning, teaching, and explaining his business to others. He was a deep thinker who had a faith in God . He loved the United States and appreciated its values and principles, which allowed him to enjoy opportunities to live a joyous life.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patricia (Gorman) Deasy, and his four sons and their wives, Don, Jr. and his wife Cynthia, Patrick and his wife Debra, Mark and his wife Natalie and Kevin and his wife Priscilla along with his 10 loving grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Michael of Savannah, GA and many other family members and friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 10:00AM in Saint Patrick- Saint Anthony Church, 285 Church Street, Hartford. All attendees are asked to go directly to church. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Suffield.
