Diane L. Clark (Dee), 58, of East Hartford passed away comfortably and peacefully in her sleep on November 2, 2022, while bravely battling cancer. Diane was born in Hartford, CT on February 21st, 1964, and was the daughter of Gail and Shirley Bishop.
She is survived by her mother Shirley Bishop of East Hartford. Her sons, Gary and his wife Kristen Clark of New Britain, CT. Jason of East Hartford, and his daughter Olivia Clark. Eric of Johnson City, TN, and his son Zander Clark. Her brothers Michael and his wife Jenny Bishop of Newington, CT, Rick Bishop of Ogden, UT, and Steve Bishop of Ogden UT.
Diane lived a private life and loved Ford Mustangs, horses, unicorns, solitaire, and most of all her boys. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends to include her cousins. Material gain was irrelevant, and this allowed her to stay humble and content with the simple things in life. She was loyal and trustworthy, compassionate and funny, with a great desire to understand the mysteries of life.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, from 5-7pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral home, 50 Naubuc Ave. Glastonbury, CT 06033. Per her request the family will host a celebration of life gathering on a later date in the summer of 2023.
