Obituary for Charles Allen Stout

Charles Allen “Al” Stout, 78, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Charles was born in Chicago, IL September 29, 1935. He grew up in Chicago, then spent some time in Florida prior to moving to Connecticut in 1990. He was a US Army veteran. Al, as he went by at work, was employed from, 1990 to 2002 as a skilled (cracker jack) machinist for Keyway Machine Shop of Wethersfield, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 68 in Berlin for 21 years, was very active as a senior member of the Meriden Rod & Gun Club, in addition to being a lifetime member of the NRA. Charles will be remembered by his two sons, who he was very proud of,Timothy of Vernon and Eric of Bristol, along with their mother Julia (Tebbetts) Stout. Charles’ funeral services will be private, at the convenience of his family, and have been entrusted to the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield.
