Obituary for Cassidy Lawlor
Cassidy Lark Lawlor, 19, of Glastonbury, passed away surrounded by family Sunday November 26, 2023 in Hartford Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Hartford on August 14, 2004, daughter of the late Shenna M. Lawlor.
As a lifelong Glastonbury resident, and a member of the GHS Class of 2023, Cassidy enjoyed all that the town has to offer. Cassidy was fortunate to have lasting friendships from her time playing soccer, gymnastics, swimming, and seemingly making friends wherever she went. With an infectious personality, and vigor for living life, she was fortunate to not only have strong relationships locally, but dear friends from her annual family vacations to Cape Cod every summer. It was a time she always looked forward to; a chance to spend time with family and reconnect with friends while at the beach.
Cassidy’s family would like to recognize the Neuro ICU and Trauma Teams at Hartford Hospital. Their patience and compassion went above and beyond what we could have asked for, let alone have expected. They have touched our lives by patiently taking time educate us, providing support when needed, and we are fortunate to have had them by our side during this once unimaginably difficult time.
Cassidy will be greatly missed by her grandparents, Rich and Kathy (Mangan) Lawlor, her uncle Brendan Lawlor and her aunt Siobhan Sullivan and her sons, Declan, Patrick, Aidan and Nolan, as well as many friends and relatives.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Cassidy’s life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church 285 Church Street Hartford.
