Obituary for Barbara A. Sullo (Kowalski)

Barbara A. (Kowalski) Sullo, 71, of Glastonbury, former longtime resident of Hartford, beloved wife of Anthony M. Sullo, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 29, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Barbara was born July 28, 1943, and raised in Hartford, daughter of the late John and Eva Kowalski. Barbara and Anthony started their family, residing in Hartford for many years, then moved to Glastonbury in 1995. She was a devoted employee for the City of Hartford for 20 plus years retiring in 2003. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Along with her husband Anthony, Barbara will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family; her son Anthony J. Sullo and his wife Natalie, of West Hartford; her daughter Cheryl Longtin and her husband James, of Westford, MA; as well as her five adored grandchildren, Gabriel, Brooke and Rachel Sullo, Emily and Henry Longtin. Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Sullo family Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield. A Celebration of Barbara’s life will be held Wednesday, February 4th at 10am in the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home.
