Obituary for Alice A. Gorman (Nagle)

Alice A. (Nagle) Gorman, 96, wife of the late Robert E. Gorman, of Wethersfield, quietly passed away at home on April 6, 2021. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Charles C. and Mary (Gilday) Nagle. Alice was a graduate of Weaver High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the International Department at Connecticut Bank & Trust. After retirement, she was a member of the CBT Alumni Club. Alice was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Church and was an avid reader of books and newspapers. During the summer months, Alice enjoyed spending time with Bob at their home in Wellfleet. Besides her husband, Alice was predeceased by her sister, Maria and brothers, Charles and Edward Nagle.
Friends may call on Friday April 9, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. Masks must be worn and social distancing will be observed. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Alice’s life will follow at 11:00 am in sacred Heart Church of Christ the King Parish, 56 Hartford Road, Wethersfield.
