Obituary for Angela Kirsche (Nolin)

Angela (Nolin) Kirsche, 85, of Wethersfield, loving wife of 62 years to the late Robert “Bob” H. Kirsche, who predeceased her in 2015, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at home with her family at her side. Angela was born August 18, 1933 in Haverhill, MA, daughter to the late George and Angela (Aylward) Nolin. Her family moved to Hartford where she attended and graduated from Buckley High School. She and Bob were introduced through mutual friends and married in 1953. They raised their four children in Wethersfield. Angela was a part of the Corpus Christi Church community, now Christ the King Parish, and was especially involved during the time of her children’s attendance. Angela was a devoted Mom and homemaker who also worked part-time in various positions, eventually gaining full time employment with the Traveler’s Insurance Co. as an Executive Secretary. Angela was a skilled seamstress, knitter and home decorator who also loved to garden. She looked forward to Sunday drives and lunches with her husband Bob, sister Patty and brother-in-law Ray.
Angela will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family; Jaime and Kay Kirsche of Atlanta, GA, Dennis and Lisa Kirsche of Wethersfield; Lisa MacDonald of Westford, MA, Robin Kirsche and Richard Saiman of Farmington; her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia “Patty” and Ray Coia of Newington, Nancy and Nick Nicholas of Rocky Hill; the lights of her life, seven adored grandchildren, Chloe, Trevor, Hailey, Eric, Emily, Genevieve and Marielle; as well as a cherished great-granddaughter, Laryssa..
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Kirsche family Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield, from 11am – 12pm, at which time a tribute to Angela’s life will be celebrated in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Village Cemetery (Hart Section), Marsh St., Old Wethersfield. The Kirsche family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations may be made to The Harry and Helen Gray Cancer Center in order to continue honoring the memory of her late husband, Robert.
