Gregory Scott Schub, 61 of East Hartford, passed away February 13, 2017 at home. He was born in Manchester on February 22, 1955, son of the late Walter E. and Mable (Grennan) Schub. He was raised in South Windsor and attended South Windsor Schools. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving with the Seabees. Prior to his retirement, Greg was an Aerospace Inspector for Chandler-Evans. He loved music and played guitar for numerous bands. Greg leaves his two sons, Scott Schub and his wife Kelly, of Enfield, James Blair-Schub and his wife Ariel Blair, of Mansfield; his two daughters, Jennifer Schub and Erica Schub, both of Florida. He also leaves five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his longtime friend Ken Stead. There are no calling hours and burial will be at a later date.
