Condolence: Dear Chris and the entire Sullivan family and all of Pat's loved ones, Please accept our heartfelt condolences from the entire Leghorn family. My brothers and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Pat and his brothers from the 1950's on in the Southend, Goodwin Park, Wethersfield Country CLub (as "sad" caddies!), at Bulkeley High School and CCSU. Although Pat had more charm and good looks, we were both Irish to the core. From Day 1 Pat had a playful and benign sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I can't remember bumping into Pat without one or both of us spilling coffee (or beer) on ourselves from bursting out laughing over some hilarious comment regarding some mess-up that we had observed - or caused. One would always come away from an encounter with Pat with no less than a smile on your face or in your heart. Tho I didn't get to see Pat as often as I wished after Bulkeley (by the way, Pat didn't go out for the basketball team, but he had serious "Bulldog" game - you didn't want to get between Pat and a rebound), every time I bumped into him it was like we were still kids back in the '60's shooting the breeze in the Wethersfield CC caddy shack hoping for a good loop. Pat's mirth, friendship and humor will always remain in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate to have known him. Erin Go Bragh, Pat, You done you and your loved ones proud. Condolence: There was once an open seat next to him at #19... For those of you that also choose to sit there you know what an experience it was. For those who never had the honor well this man told it straight and loved his city and was proud to wear the blue you simply had to respect him and hoped there would be an open seat again.

Condolence: Please accept my sympathy on Pat's leaving.I got to know Pat when he was on my squad when I was a Watch Commander.Pat loved working the street and was a great cop.He feared nothing but also had a compassion for those in need.Pat spurned opportunities for advancement because he enjoyed working the street.Pat will be well remembered by those of us he worked with and no doubt he is telling St Pete he will work the streets of heaven waiting for the rest of us to catch up.
