Dorothy Bartman Fearn, wife of the late William H. Fearn passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at home with her family by her side. Born to Adelbert and Elizabeth (Clark) Bartman on June 1, 1910 in Hartford, where she lived for thirty years. She moved to Wethersfield in 1941. Dorothy leaves her loving daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Faenza and her son, David and his wife Sharon Fearn. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Keri and Jason Kemish, Kevin Abbate and his fiancé Kelly Smith, Gregory and Sara Fearn, Valerie and Douglas Scheer and seven great grandchildren, Paige and Brooke Kemish, Chloe Joy and Benjamin Scheer, Glenn and Owen Fearn. She also leaves her dear nieces Karen and Bob Price and their children Kristin and Brett Poulin, Robbie and Jenn Price and several other nieces and nephews. Dot was predeceased by her siblings Adelbert Benjamin, Raymond, Charles Joseph, and John Bartman, Elizabeth Beidler, Grace McGann, Mellicent Stevens, and Phem Nyborg. Dot worked at Phoenix Insurance Co. of Hartford and several years at Hatry Electronics as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Wethersfield, where she worked in the church office. She loved ten pin bowling well into her eighties as well as knitting, crewel work, singing, shopping, crossword puzzles and visiting with family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11am in the Farley Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery, Marsh St. Wethersfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family, Saturday, January 2010 from 9 to 11am at the Funeral Home.
