Arthur W. Dubois, 89, of Newington, beloved husband to Mary (O’Connor) Dubois entered into eternal rest Friday, December 25, 2009. Born in St. Prosper, Canada, he was the son of the late Ernest & Amanda (Bourque) Dubois. An Army Air Force Veteran of WWII, he attended Hillyer College, and had many satisfactory years as a tool designer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was also a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Wethersfield Council #4193. Sharing in their loss in addition to his wife, Mary, are his children, Mark Dubois and his wife Leslie of Haddam, Luke Dubois and his wife Lisa of Virginia, Matthew Dubois of California, John Dubois and his wife Jane of Kentucky, Thomas Dubois and his wife Wendy of Wisconsin, and James Dubois and his wife Wendy of North Carolina as well as a sister, Marie Lennox of New Jersey. The Dubois family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the West Hartford Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 9am from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Church of The Incarnation, 544 Prospect St, Wethersfield. Burial will follow at Mount. St. Benedict Cemetery, (Section O), 1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield. Friends and relatives may call on the family, Friday, January 8, 2010 from 5-8pm at the Funeral Home.
